New Mists of Pandaria Mage Talents

All three of the specializations (Arcane, Frost and Fire) are still available, along with the basic spec’s learned along the way from 1 to 90, but you now get to choose 6 other things known as talents along the way. 


WoW Mage
Every 15 levels you will learn a new talent (15, 30, 45, 60, 75 and finally at 90) per tier. You get three choices and can only choose one of the three at each tier.

Level 15 Choices:
Presence of Mind - When Presence of Mind is activated your next spell that normally has a casting time of less
than 10 seconds will suddenly become an instant cast.

Scorch -This nice little spell can be cast even while moving and scorches the enemy for 1058 Fire damage.

Ice Flows - Two non-instant spells can be cast within 8 seconds of each other while moving. This will work even while a time spell is evolving.

Level 30 Choices:
Temporal Shield - This shields you for 4 seconds. Any damage taken while you are shielded will be undone over a 6 second period.

Blazing Speed - Overcomes movement slowing affects and gives you a 1.5 second burst of speed for a total of 150% but the only time you can activate this is after you are hit by a spell or a melee hit greater than 2% of your max health. This can also be cast while a time spell is evolving.

Ice Barrier - This is an instant shield that absorbs up to 8218 damage and lasts 1 minute.

Level 45 Choices:
Mists Of Pandaria Guide Ring of Frost - Calls upon a Ring of Frost with a 10 yard radius to a location you choose, and any enemies that enter the ring will be frozen for 10 seconds. The ring also lasts for 10 seconds.

Ice Ward - Puts a 30 second magical field called an Ice Ward on any friendly target, and any enemies that come within 10 yards will become frozen in place for 5 seconds.

Frostjaw - This freezes the enemy where he stands for 8 seconds and the bonus is that it silences them too. It is 4 seconds in PvP.

Level 60 Choices:
Greater Invisibility - This basically replaced Invisibility, but you get that still and a bonus. You remain invisible for 20 seconds, immediately reducing threat, and even removing up to two DoT’s on you. No enemy can target you. Any damage taken while invisible is reduced by 90% and lasts an extra 3 seconds after you become visible. If you perform any actions for the duration of Invisibility you will become vulnerable immediately.

Cauterize -Any attack that could actually kill you will instead give you 50% of max health to you. You will also burn for 40% of your max health over a period of the next 6 seconds.

Cold Snap - When Cold Snap is activated it instantly restores 20% of your max health, and breaks the CD of your Cone of Cold, Ice Block or Frost Nova spells.

Level 75 Choices:
Arcane Bomb -Puts an Arcane Bomb on a targeted enemy which will deal 3060 Arcane damage over a period of 12 seconds. If there is a random target within 10 yards they will also receive 50% of the bombs damage.

Living Bomb - When you target an enemy they become a Living Bomb, where they will take 1524 Fire damage over a period of 12 seconds. Following that they will explode and deal an additional 1534 Fire damage to possibly three enemies that are within 10 yards.

Frost Bomb - Puts a Frost Bomb on an enemy for 6 seconds after which it will explode dealing 3071 Frost damage to the primary target and up to 1535 Frost damage to any other target within 10 yards. The targets that are affected are slowed for 2 seconds by 70%. Also with this spell the more haste you have the lower the CD for the spell.

Level 90 Choices:
Invocation - The CD of your Evocation spell is no longer an issue, but base mana regeneration is also gone. For 30 seconds you deal 20% more damage after completing an Evocate.

Rune of Power - Puts a Rune of Power anywhere on the ground that lasts one minute. When you stand inside of it, you regeneration is increased 100% and you deal out 15% more damage. You may only place up to two Runes of Power at any one time. This spell also replaced Evocation.

Incanter’s Shield - You absorb damage to convert it back into mana for up to 30% of your max mana. It will last 8 seconds and when it is destroyed or gone you will have 15 seconds of increased spell power by 30%.
